You don’t have to figure out the next step alone
Sometimes you know something needs to change, but you’re not sure where to start. Maybe you’re facing a big decision, trying to rebuild routines that slipped, setting boundaries that keep falling apart, or getting ready for a new chapter. Coaching gives you a partner in that process: someone in your corner who helps you get clear, make a plan, and follow through.
I offer coaching to people in any state, and I’d love to help you move toward the life you want.
What coaching is…
Coaching is forward-focused, practical work. Together, we’ll:
- Get clear on what you want. We’ll put words to your goals, even if right now they’re just a feeling that something should be different.
- Make a realistic plan. We’ll break big changes into steps that fit your actual life, energy, and schedule.
- Build skills and habits. Communication, boundaries, time and energy management, decision-making — the practical tools that help change stick.
- Stay accountable. We’ll check in on progress, notice what’s working, and adjust what isn’t, without judgment.
People often come to coaching for help with:
- Career changes, job searches, or feeling stuck at work
- Relationships and communication
- Setting and keeping boundaries
- Building routines and healthier habits
- Life transitions like moving, starting over, or a new role
- Finding direction and following through on goals
How coaching is different from therapy
Coaching and therapy can both be life-changing, but they’re designed to do different things.
Therapy is a licensed healthcare service. It’s for assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health concerns like depression, anxiety, PTSD, or trauma, and for healing what’s happened in the past. Therapy can be billed to insurance and must be provided by someone licensed in the state where you live.
Coaching focuses on where you are now and where you want to go. As your coach, I don’t diagnose, assess, or treat mental health conditions, and coaching isn’t billed to insurance. Coaching isn’t a substitute for therapy, and the two can work well side by side.
If you’re struggling with symptoms that are getting in the way of daily life, such as ongoing anxiety, depression, flashbacks, or past trauma that still feels present, you deserve care from a licensed therapist. That’s not a door closing. It’s the right kind of support for what you’re carrying.
I can help you find a therapist, too
Finding a therapist can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re already worn out. If therapy is what you need, part of our coaching work can be getting you connected. I can help you:
- Figure out what kind of therapist and approach might be a good fit
- Search for licensed therapists in your state and narrow down your options
- Prepare questions to ask during consultation calls
- Work through the practical barriers: insurance, cost, scheduling, or just making that first call
You don’t have to navigate it alone. Getting you to the right support is a goal worth working on.
If you’re in crisis
Coaching is not a crisis service. If you’re in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline any time, or call 911 for an emergency.
